They stopped film entering the water, and then picked up inside the water. They didn't show you the passengers putting on mask and regulators (SCUBA gear). And 1.8 MPH with any kind of current in the water would be catastrophic. What happens if the car goes deeper than 30 feet? Does it descend perilously? Is there some kind of lift bag in emergency?

I don't know. It leaves me with a ton of questions. They make it look like a walk in the park in the video.

Awesome.

Of course, you'll have to tow one or two of them as backup. Does it have a [-]butt d-ring[/-] tail hitch?

Maybe you can get one with a real leather interior!!

I wonder though if they'd had a flat while underwater would she still have to change it?

This car needs split fins.. It would go faster!
Seriously.. who is going to buy one of these? Looks a bit unstable when submerged.
I like it though.. I'll put it on my Christmas list.

Diving cars? Are we not supposed to have flying cars already?

Watched an interview with the Designer.
Apparently it is slightly positive and requires down thrusters to keep it down. So in a power failure it should float gently to the surface.
The video was shot in Lake geneva and his comment was *********g cold.
It is a proof of concept design and not intended for general production.

However the air car from France should be ready this year at 2.500 pounds or $5000 and about $3 to fill it with compressed air. 50 miles an hour 200 mile range. Carbon fibre tanks in the chassis with a built in compressor.
So take your own bank to the dive site, just don't run out of air on the way home.
