The HOG 5th ports work on APEKS regs? I knew the HOG's were DST copies, but I never knew it went to the extent that critical parts are interchangeable. What HP soft seats do they use? The black APEKS ones or the white HOG ones?

If that is the case, you might want to throw in the original APEKS HP balance plugs/chambers and new HP seats in case the buyer wants to restore it to the original Apeks config.

HOG vs. Apeks balance chamber/plug. They are nearly identical except for the thicker stem for the HOG to accommodate the hex wrench. But all the critical diameters are the same. My caliper and the test fitting (unpressurized) confirms this.

If you have the 5th port installed, why aren't you using it for the inflator hose?

Why would you do that if you're diving sidemount? Don't sidemount inflators come in from the side?

any bladder with a top dump can have the inflator moved there for it to route over the shoulder.
