Does anyone "fog" [light lube/fog] their compressor before prolonged storage? If yes, what constitutes prolonged storage and how much of what do you use to fog?

I've not seen a compressor yet that wants lube above the piston rings. You'd be better off trying to keep the moisture out than trying to coat the operating surfaces.

New pistons and liners and rings come dry, not coated.
