Focus 2 battery pack update and power consumption

Hi All,

1. Did someone made custom batary pack for Focus2?
Original Focus2 battery pack capacity is 5.2Ah ( 3s2p with INR18650-26E ).
By documentation:
Focus 1.0: Approx. 5 hours burn time on high and 10 hours on low (5.2-amp hour li-ion battery pack)
Focus 2.0: Approx. 2.5 hours burn time on high and 5 hours on low (using the standard, 5.2-amp hour battery)

I tried use to use 18650GA 3350mAh for Focus 2. The result not super cool. Burn time on high is increased to 40min ( it is not enough for cave/cavern )
I used non original BMS controller.

Colleagues, could you share your expirience ( like battery type, capacity, controller, burntime, etc )?


2. Anybody check Focus 1 and Focus 2 power usage? How much should the voltage drop to switch to low-intensity light?

You can get 10 hours on high / 20 on low with the 20A Li-Ion canister. There are also two NiMH options to get 4.5/6.75 hours.
