Inon paperwork wasn't very clear - can anyone give cleaning after a dive and storage advice on the fiber optic cables? Best plan so far is a small plastic case that will fit in the pelican case with the rest of my equipment.

Well, those fiber optic cables have a plastic core, not glass so they aren't terribly fragile. You certainly don't want to kink them hard but at the same time, don't go crazy trying to protect them. They're pretty durable.

You have a case, put the cables inside the housing when traveling.

Cleaning == soak well in fresh water, shake off any drops, let dry. Do this disconnected from strobe & camera.
Storage == do not fold, spindle or mutilate (or nick with sharp object). The cables do not need any specialized protection, just treat them with care. For travel & storage I loop mine loosely around the base of my wide angle lens.
