I think I know the answer, but I can't find any specific information on whether/how long you need to wait to fly after a pool dive/session. DM-ing an OW class Thursday nite in the pool, and need to fly on Friday.

Yea, it's way to shallow to have any kind of nitrogen build up IMO... I'm not an expert, but I'd say you'll be fine. You might try putting your dive computer (if you have one) into plan mode and see if it tells you not to fly just for grins.

^^ I imagine it will. I think any time you submerge most computers beyond 4 feet they'll kick into a 24-hour countdown by default. Never tried it, though.

To the OP: fly. You'll be fine.

That's what I was thinking it might do too. I'm not even sure my dive computer will tell you not to fly in the planning modes.

I have seen something on this that would suggest you will be absolutely fine. Unfortunately I can't cite the source, so I will, of course, deny all responsibility for the consequences.

unless you stayed down at 10 feet for 4 hours..........

Funny, if you saw how CW dives one and two went you would know that's a distinct possibility!

:-)

actually yesterday i went on a 39 minute dive that had a max of 20 feet and my computer never kicked into no fly time mode. I have a Suunto Vyper.......
