Flu Season ?

Could this be the start of an early flu season? All around Miami people are coping with sinus and lung congestion, some lasting 6-8 weeks !! Personally, this things knocked the hell out of my late summer dive season. Viral in nature, so antibiotics are out. Just wondering what, if anything, the rest of the country is experiencing ? Could be worse, my brother in VA is currently enjoying candlelit dinners thanks to Isabel.

There's a pretty nasty cold bug in my area. First the kids got it at school, then coworkers had it. It was too much for me...I got it
too. I think it was a cold, not the flu. After 3 weeks I'm finally over it.
It ruined my late summer diving too.:upset:

I have a nasty case of it right now. Throat hurts to swallow anything. Ears are so clogged up that it hurts. This sucks. I have been so out of it that today is the first time that I have had the Computer on for 3 days now.
My Bro-in-law is a pharmasict (sp?) and he said that this year is one of the worst that he has seen.

I have something as well. Kept me out of the water this weekend as well as a few weeks back. And I rarely ever get sick!!

Pretty much everyone in my office has caught something and at least half have been off work at least one day.

I got it really bad last week grr - as long as I'm 100% for my Red Sea trip in a month I'm happy....
