Does anyone know of, or dive any Upper Keys wrecks besides the standard recreational Eagle, Spiegel, Bibb, Duane etc.?

#'s would be appreciated

There's the Northern Light at about 190 feet off of Key Largo. This is a great wreck and lots of fun.

There are some very shallow wrecks like the Benwood, at about 50, also off of Key Largo. Not much left of this one but ribs of the vessel.

Moving South, there are other shallow wrecks like the San Jose and the Infante. I have never been to these and it is more like remnants of an old wreck rather than a true wreck. Depth is very shallow, less than 20 feet. These are off of Islamorada.

The Thunderbolt off marathon is a really nice wreck at 120 feet. Usually good viz and sometimes a current. The Busch off Cudjoe Key is also a very nice but under ulilized resource. It sits at 105 feet and is great for training and learning penetration. Viz is more like NJ diving but the water is warm!

There are lots of wrecks in the Upper Keys, and some are quite shallow like the Menemon Sanford. Most of these are beaten up die to the shallow depth, but still cool to visit once and a while.
Tons of numbers and background information can be found in the book, Shipwrecks of the Sunshine State.

thanks, ill check out that book.

i found some numbers for the Northern Lights, so will def. be heading out there.

whats the archaeology on that wreck? upright? sits on starboard? how deep is the deck?

It is 190fsw to the sand. Full narrative in the book, but here is some brief info:
