Flooded sealife wide angle lens

I just purchased the SL973 mini wide angle lens from Amazon.com and brought it for a dive trip.

At, the end of the trip I realised that there is water inside the wide angle lens. Once the water evaporates, it leaves salt crystals stuck on the inside of the lens! :depressed:

Is the lens suppose to flood? Is there a way to get the salt crystals out?

No, it is not supposed to flood. You should send it into our service technician for replacement. Call our service center at 800-257-7742 to get a return authorization number.
