Call this a mini-micro trip report, but I had a really nice weekend on the Fling out at the Gardens. Saturday I did 5 dives. Four of them were in the 55 to 60 minute range. The rig dive was a short but beautiful 32 minutes. Visibility was not the super clear view typical of August, but was usually a respectable 70 feet. Surface temp was bathtub warm, bottom was comfortable, above 80F. Sunday produced one dive at Stetson where I saw a 3 pound lobster. Weather turned and Captain Randy wisely decided to return to port early. The divers on the boat were a real nice group. If any of you are reading this (Dive Pirates especially) feel free to PM me. Oh yes, the diving will continue until morale improves.
