Taking some friends down to the keys for some snorkeling in a couple weeks and I would like to take them to the best snorkeling reefs. "Best" meaning in the best shape and not looking dead or dying, etc, etc...
We are staying in Key Largo and were planning on booking trip out to Christ of the Abyss, etc. but I heard recently that the reef in that area is looking horrible....And that the reef down near Bahia Honda/Big Pine/Looe Key area is in much better shape? But, it's a far drive down that way, I was wondering if it would be worth it?
I don't know what the reef looks like in the Keys these days as I normally only do the wreck dives.
