I've had my Fix Light HG 20DX down on 4 dives now and it has failed on 2 of them. I used it successfully on the first two dives, put in a spare battery and cleaned and reseated the battery oring in the hotel room (everything was dry), light functioned fine topside. Immediately on the next dive, the bulb went on quickly and then off, no leak indicator, but a green flashing light that the manual said indicates a burned out bulb. Back at hotel I tried the other battery and the light functioned fine--so looks like a bad battery ? Just to be sure, I carefully changed the o-ring, submerged light in the bathtub...all is well. Next dive I get a leak indicator immediately upon submersion. I was at the surface so I turned off the light and passed it back up to the boat. Examined it back at hotel room and there were a few drops of water in the battery compartment. Its now dry and functioning fine with the good battery.

I'm just wondering if others are having difficulties with this light ? Any ideas ?

For me its been unreliable at best despite my meticulous attention to the o-rings. Also, the battery compartment o-ring is the most difficult o-ring to remove I have yet to encounter.

Thanks, I bought mine at Backscatter so I'll just send it in to them to check
