fit of fins

How do you wear your fins? Is your footpocket snug around your booty enough that its a _little_ difficult to don the fin? Or is it loose enough that were the strap to snap while finning you might lose it?

My fins are a bit on the snug side, making stand-up-donning a pain, though once their on the fit is fine. I'm curious to see how others fit their fins.

You have to compromise. I'd prefer the fins to be snug on the boots but then if they take more than a few seconds to put on I'm likely to get hit by surf and maybe even loose a fin. Mine are a little loose and have spring straps. I can pretty much put them on one handed
