Our boat was one of maybe half a dozen dive boats out at Shark Point today, so there will have been plenty to witness the fishing boat with his nets stuck on Shark Point 3. What is to be done to report this breach of the Marine Reserve limits and the damage that surely must have been done to our ( as in us divers) site? We could only look on in dismay as that crew pulled away at their netting to try and get it freed. One of my divers took pictures of the vessels in question.

I suppose high season is coming and the fishermen now have the extra demand put on them to deliver and they'll push the limits if they're allowed to get away with it.

On a positive note, we encountered one of the visiting whale sharks again!:D

It's already been reported, one of the boats out there took pictures of the fishing vessels and the nets underwater.

The information has now been passed to the marine police for follow up.
