I've been reading around for a while and im trying to figure out which is best to get - a wide angle wet lens or a fish eye wet lens
I have a Canon S95 with an Ikelite housing - I basically want sharper pictures. I'm more of a "snapper" on holidays and not doing anything professional

If possible I wouldn't mind a lens that will let me do macro shots as well as non-macro shots.
I was looking at spending up to £200 if possible on the lens

Which one would you recommend out of the two lenses?

Cheers in advance :)

Hello,

The Ikelite WA-20 lens would almost fit your budget ($359 USD) but fisheyes generally cost more than 200 pounds.

Both of those lenses (wide-angle vs fisheye) would help you shoot closer to your subjects (especially large ones). A macro lens is a great addition but your subject size would be limited to very small subjects (unlike the wide angle). Ideally, you would have one of each. But if you want to choose between them, it's good to know what subject you are planning to shoot.

We do carry a fisheye lens that can do macro but it's about $1500 USD.

Hi thanks for the reply

I've been told by a company that I should be looking at a is Inon 67mm Screw thread (12221 UWL-H100 28M67 - 67mm thread)
Is this something you would recommend or ever used? It was a little over budget so is there an equvilant?

Cheers
