Just got back from a wonderful dive to Ginnie Springs.

While I was there I saw a couple of things I would like help with in identifying.

The first was a small fish, it layed flat on the bottom, was dark grey with little colored speckels (sp?). 3-5" long and looked "fuzzy" on the edges. Sorta reminded me of a flounder the way it sat on the bottom and worked itself under the sand.

The second was a small turtle. About 6-8" long and had a rather large head as compared to it's body. It's head was roundish and it snout came to a point.

If you have any ideas that would be great. The buddy I was diving with had a UW camera but the shutter lever broke afer the 3rd picture!

Thanks,

Jeff

Hope this helps,

Hey, Thanks for the info. I;m not sure on the turtle you gave me a link to though, the one I saw had a head that was bigger and more round. Although it still probably is the same kind.
