I put together a new rig just before my wife and I left for our honeymoon, it consists of a canon s95 + canon housing, generic tray and 2 sealife sl960d strobes.. I am pretty happy with the results it does however require A LOT of manual work to get proper exposure and lighting, wish I could afford TTL and a housing for my dslr, maybe someday.

any suggestions, critique, and comments are welcome:

I think I did fairly well for my first trip and I look forward to continued improvement :D

Very nice pics. I am in the process of building my set up. I just purchased a S95 for my wife for Christmas and I am planning on the Ikelite housing and strobe. This is all for our annual trip to Cancun in April. I just hope my pictures come out like yours. Keep up the good work.

Nice pics! I would just say that you can get a lot closer to your subject (s) and try not to shoot from above. Being eye level or below is much more pleasing to the eye than the top down shots.
Your exposure looked good on almost all of the pics, so it appears you're having no problem with shooting in manual.

thank you, if you know what iso, f/stop, and shutter speed control you will do fine in manual mode..

I shot most pics on ISO 100, f/stop controls the amount of flash the camera picks up and shutter speed controls the amount of ambient light the camera pics up, ex: if you want to make the pic look like it was taken at night, use a faster shutter speed

I tried but I am big on trying my best not to touch the reef, so getting underneath the subject or at eye level can be difficult, especially with a strong current.. I know I am at eye level on both nudibranch shots, they are easy enough to take your time with. :D

thank you for the feedback, I did notice some Chormatic aberration with certain colors (blue on black) and i'm wondering if others have similar issues with the s95..
