Wow... and that's your FIRST time with the camera underwater???

You're a pro!

You've caught alot of color - those pics should touch up nicely in pshop.

Strobe or internal flash?

excellent shots, can't wait till I'm there at the end of the month. Love the sunset and turtle shots, all look great though and you will only get better.

Very nice shots driftin' by, great variety of subjects, good composition, great color in your shots..

Wonderful shots with your A95 and just the housing, I trust that you're using manual white balance on these shots?
The colors really pop...

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all your feedback... it's encouraging. I took these without an external strobe and only using the internal. Technically, this isn't my first time with a UW cameras. I've used the Sea & Sea MX5 (35mm film camera without external strobe) on previous trips. Although it took horrible pictures because it was fixed in a single mode, I got to work on my composition skills.

Some of these have already be ran through Photoshop applying Mandrake, auto levels and auto color where applicable.

I had all good intentions to use manual white balance and would get the camera all set with suggested f-stop and aperture. After setting the white balance at depth, the photos would look washed out and over-exposed. At that point I didn't know whether to crap or go blind so I covered one eye and farted.... basically, I chickened out, put it into Underwater mode and just focused on turning on and off the flash as needed and using macro mode when the opportunity arose.

I still need a lot of practice but the a95 has given me a lot of hope and I think it's something I can defiantly grow into with a strobe later on.
