Shot this using a Canon S95 with Canon WP-DC38 housing when I was on Coz last November. Best footage starts at about 4:09 in. Let me know what you think!

I don't know what you were doing differently towards the end but the last clip of the turtle is excellent. I suspect you were closer to your subject and in shallower water.

You would obviously benefit enormously from adding a video light to your rig but it is simply amazing how much you can accomplish shooting video with a point-and-shoot that is primarily a still camera.

You may also want to consider adjusting the white balance in post-production to get rid of some of the blue and true up some colors. But all in all a great first video using a very simple straight forward set-up.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Yeah, I was much closer to the turtle at the end of the video than any of the other subjects, and it was indeed in shallower water. I'd love to grab a light for my setup (and honestly, a different enclosure), but funds don't allow for that right now. I tried to adjust the white balance in Premiere Pro while I was cutting the various clips together, but wasn't adept enough to get any results better than what the camera gave me in the first place.
