Greetings, if anyone from the KY area would like to dive the springs next weekend they are welcome to join me. I have several going to Gainsville from the 6th-9th Jan.
 
Welcome! from another Kentuckian! I'm in the Owensboro area. I frequently dive the quarry in Hopkinsville. If you're ever down that way, look me up. Funny you should mention going to the springs,... I will be taking an OW class to Vortex Springs 6- 9th. I guess we're all heading south, to escape this cold.:D
 
Thanks. I get over your way once a year for scuba and once a year to motorcycle LBL. I enjoy Vortex. Did my IE there. So it will always be a favorite. Where do you stay on your trip? Do you do 2 days at Vortex?

We will be staying at the Best Western in Defuniak Springs. I am staying 3 days. 2 days (Fri. & Sat.) for the OW class & 1 day to do some OW diving with a friend who moved to FL. I was hoping to stay down a couple of day to get in some cave diving, but have some prior commitments back home, so have to head back on Sun. afternoon. Hoping that Feb. may be more productive for some cave diving.
