I took out my new Canon SD960 IS in the Ike housing last night for the first time. Overall I'm pleased with the performance so far but I'm hoping that someone knows a trick or two. is there any way to save settings on this camera? With my last two Casios I could set my own "best scene" mode for how I wanted to shoot. I can't seem to find a way to do this with the Canon. All I really want it to do is stay in macro when I'm in the uw mode. Every time the camera powers down it reverts back to normal mode.
here are a few pics form the first dive with the camera. No strobe was used and this was an evening dive with good viz but a lot of "snot" in the water.

I like them. Better than what I can get with my SD850is in the Canon housing, socal water.

Nice shots!
I have the same issue with my Olympus... I just got used to setting the macro mode every time.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for posting Cardog! This is one of the cameras I was considering getting so your pics and video are helping me to make a decision.
