First Live-aboard in the Dominican Republic

Uwescuba Dive Center, Bayahibe, will start in August 2014, the first Dominican Republic live-aboard.
The boat with a length of 24 meters/ 77 feet and a capacity for 12 divers plus crew will start up in the first period with day trips and weekend trips to new and not dived areas on the south coast of the Dominican Republic.
We are planning tours to Isla Saona, Isla Mona, La Caleta, Isla Beata
Here, the diver can find a untouched underwater world with big fish and much more.
A compressor is on board, so we can offer nolimit diving, depending on the dive area and depth.
The boat can also be bookt for diving groups or special diving events.

That's a pretty good idea, Uwe. The out islands were the only thing worth diving last time we were there. But getting to Saona was a pain. We might have to look into this.

I will dive brand new dive sites in the next weeks around Saona and in between the DR and Mona Island. I will post the news.
