This will be my first time taking underwater pics with my newly used underwater housing for my digital camera (Canon S45). I’ve been reading up on the do’s and don’ts of underwater photography and am looking forward to the challenges of using a Digital camera with the “built-in flash”.
My question is….. Setting the flash to maximum output and setting the manual shutter speed to 1/250, would this be enough light for a decent shot of the reef at a distance of 3’ and a depth of approx. 60’ on a sunny day? I know there are a lot of variables to work with, but just looking for some ballpark numbers and settings to start with on my first dive.

Thanks

Mark
