I have no fixation on Halcyon, it is just the brand that My LDS sells, I haven't really had a chance to look around. I have never tried a Plate/Wing system, and I would definitly not buy one untill I tried it. I have jsut heard from a lot of people...on the board as well as off that they are great.
The reason I think that they would be great is that all the air is behind you. I don't like having these big bulky bubbles in front of me.
I haven't even thought of doing any tech courses yet, but it s a possibility in the future. Right now all I want to do is dive as much as I can, and get as much experiance as I can.
If anyone else has any opinions on the BP/wing set up, as opposed to a jacket style BC please let me know
