Hello, I'm a ocasional european female diver who mostly dives while travelling (between 0-2 trips a year) and very rarely at home. My trips are mostly to Asia or Egypt, I prefer to dive in warm water. I've thought that maybe is the time to invest in a basic but quality dive gear that preferably doesn't break the bank. Because I mostly dive in other countries, light/easy to travel with is important. Very important is that is reliable, sturdy and easy manteinance. I'm a curvy lady, so able to adjust confortable would be great.

Everybody here raves about Scubapro Hydros X Lady. It is more that what I initially wanted to spent, but I have found an offer for 675 euros. But I have also seen a Scubapro Navigator Lite for 340 euros. Considering that I will use mostly only on holidays, it is worth the price difference?

For the Scubapro Hydros X Lady, I don't know about the lady version, but for the male version, it is worth every penny of it. Make sure that it is the correct size before you get excited by the low price.

Another option that I have found is Aqualung Rogue for 350 euros.

The low price in the Hydros is because they have a 10% sale across the shop, so they have all sizes, but I do not know if I would be an M for height, or L for weight...

Skip anything Aqualung. I replied to your post on regulators and explained why.

I do not know if I would be an M for height, or L for weight...

It is a combination of both in addition to circumference :) If you got one that doesn't fit, wouldn't they exchange it?

Circumference is close to the upper range of the M. Yes, I could exchange It, but I would rather get It right first time

I'd probably get an L in this case.

I am not sure how much is it supported in Europe, but I swear by anything Zeagle.

Zeagle Stiletto is a great, quality, light, and practical back inflated BC that had worked for me perfectly for both local and travel dives. You can also get it with a threaded connector for the inflator (or integrated inflator-octo, Octo-Z), which allows you to remove it easily after each dive and rinse the bladder with a garden hose.

As far as your post about regulators, Zeagle 8 with Flathead first stage is likely one of the lightest sets you can by. I'm not sure if 8 comes with Flathead LT, but my LT is the smallest 1st stage I have seen.

well that's too bad about the Zena - wife loved hers but was unhappy with the lack of integrated pocket and when the inflator boss cracked we got her a SP Ladyhawk which is now her favorite.
