Borrowed a canon 60mm f/2.8 prime and a flat port for my housing to try my luck at macro stuff. Also as i'd never seen seahorses before and becoming convinced they were a combination of narcosis and bits of grass i thought i'd try to prove that point and jump in looking for some.
First impressions, macro shots with a prime are way harder than wide angle. I have to move, subject moves, the bottom moves, everything moves! Lighting is also far harder than i thought. Going to play a lot more but its completely different to the wide angle stuff im used to.
I failed to spot either sea horse, the divemaster trainee did though. The things are just invisible to me.

A seahorse

How the hell the DMT spotted this one i don't know. Blended in perfectly.
