I love my Legend.

There are a lot of threads on this subject so your best bet is to do a search!!! ;)

Try one before you buy, think about the future( You may be diving in warm water now but may want to dive in much colder water later ) this will mean a all metal second stage, buy the best you can possibly afford, they last a long time

Ideal IMO would be all metal, diaphram first stage and don't skimp on the octo.

I dive with a Mares Proton XL and Proton octo in warm water and lighter to carry around airports
and Mares Proton Ice and Ice Octo in cold water.

But there are a lot of very good regs, Apek, Scubapro, etc.

Dont waste money on Titanium.

hope this helps

The Scubapro Mk 2 R190 or Mk2 R390 are very good entry level choices. Both are simple, reliable, easy to service and offer good perfromance to recreational limits. And both the R190 and R390 come in an octo variant.
