I'm a Fish!
Good morning videographers! I have a question for the Sony users out there.... Is it possible for the firewire port on the back of my DCR-HC85 to go bad?

I have tried changing the firewire cable and neither work, so I know the problem with the camera. now...when I pulg in the firewire cable to the camera, on the screen it reads DVin. When I remove the firewire, the "DVin" goes away. I have tried another camera, with my firewire to my PCIMA card that jacked into the side of my laptop, and it works just fine. Now I know th problem is with my HC85 and not other components. Any idea on how to fix this problem?:coffee:
