I posted with a link to a dive video I put on my Facebook page but a firewall warning is stopping anyone from linking.

what do I need to do?

thanks

It's might be a pretty simple fix, there's a semi-colon in the facebook video link you posted and our firewall is blocking that since that's an easy way for hackers to gain access.

Once you fix it there might be some interval required before the link works. Maybe an hour or so till till it clears.

Diversteve,

I posted the facebook link verbatim from the browser bar when I was on the facebook site. If I edit the link to remove the semicolon will that make the link ineffective? Sorry, I am not a tech type person.

Yes it will.

What Max^ posted will work instead.

Here's the link to your video on facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/guy.harrison.984/videos/vob.100002599185152/890084341088197/?type=2&theater

the part we care about is what is between the last two //'s - placing fv tags around it like this:

[fv]890084341088197[/fv] <- cut and paste this line into your other post.

yields:

[fv]890084341088197[/fv]

Thank you Steve, it's working now!! I put up a new thread because for some reason I could not edit my original post.
