Hello, I have an sd600 with the WP-DC4 housing that I bought a while back to just get used to using a camera in the water. Its been a year of taking pictures with it and now Ild like to get used to using strobes and possible get a wide angle lens for it. Again I'm not looking at breaking the bank on top of the line equipment as I am no professional but would like to take better pictures and think this camera is a great learning experience, I prefer wide angle to macro. Is there anything out there that anyone knows about that would allow me to add onto what I have. I was looking at the ikelyte af35 for a strobe option but cant find anything for a lens. Also since there is no WB adjusting with this camera would a filter work for me? Any help would be appreciated as the local photo shop places and the big electronic stores dont seem to emply anyone who has ever taken a camera underwater.
Thanks

No worries there. You can easily break the bank getting low end equipment :)

Inon lens mounts are readily available for that model of canon housing. Inon AD Mount Base DC3/4/13/14 for Canon (SD630/600/1000/750) [ino.456212143324] - $76.95 : Reef Photo & Video!, The Underwater Photo Pros
Lenses however will run $330 and up. (probably $200 and up on ebay)

Reread the manual. Manual WB should be available on that camera.

This is an area where you have to go to the people that specialize in underwater photography.

You can try loading chdk on the canon, with that you can play with the shutter speed and flash intensities and even shot in raw format,I did it and it was fun, but for now I got hooked and I am moving to another camera Olympus xz-1 and pt-050 housing.

I have one strobe sealife sl961 that I use with the canon. I would like to sell it, so if you want to try something different without expending big bucks, sent me a message and I will send you some pics I took with the strobe along with some pictures of the strobe.
