Well as alot of you know I've been working on my DM cert for about a year now. I know, I know. But circumstances kept putting off classes, pool sessions got canceled or were taken up by ow students. Well, Monday night I finished the final requirements
. I waited to post until today when I had everything in hand ready to go in the mail tomorrow morning. I called PADI and currently DM apps are at about 5 days for processing and sending back out. So I'm figuring that I should have my card by November 10th at the latest
! I went tonight and signed off on the application, got my instructors signature, and got my picture in one of those mall photo booths. It will go out tomorrow morning certified mail, return receipt requested
. There have been alot of ups and downs getting this. Times when, out of frustration
, I wanted to say the hell with it. Times when I was on my way to the pool and got a call that the session was cancelled or that there were 4 ow students:11: instead of two and we would be short on time. There were also times when I was thanked for helping out:11doh: , saw the joy in someone's face as they breathed underwater for the first time, and seen the relief in a student's eyes when vis went to hell and they looked and saw me right at their side:14: :14: . I have also pissed and moaned to this board and received nothing but encouragement, understanding, compassion and once in a while a good, well deserved, kick . To those of you who listened, put up with my rantings, and encouraged me I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the MODS I say thanks for letting some of my frustrations get through in some of my posts:light: . I have met some new friends on this board and have many that I've not yet met in person but still feel close to. I've not been on that long, a little over a year and a half or so(I'm really not sure). I say thanks to those who've been here the whole time like Pete(NetDoc), Catherine, Lynne(TS&M), Kraken, Green Manelishi, Motivation, Tom, Cudachaser, and even Jep along with so many others. I miss Big Jet Driver. I'm glad to see so many new people and have received many PM's from them and others. I'm am so happy that I don't have to be missing Kimber . Keep fighting girl! And to a very special person Mattthewonderboy. You are an inspriration to us all. I often thought of you when times got tough, and I felt like giving up, and it would go away:14: .
