first let me say hello to everyone again since its been a bit since i posted. my wife and i just returned from our ow cert trip in mexico. we had a blast, and wished we had more time to dive after our cert before driving back home. everything went real good. i could have done without the waves throwing me around , but once i went under in was all good. it was weird cause i have never been bothered by waves before until that morning. my wife and i are soo happy to have finally ventured into this adventure, and are planning to return to mexico at the end of the month for somemore fun. mabe some boat dives this time. lugging everything around got tiresome, but not bad. agin hello to all.

Welcome back...isn't it a blast?? I wish I had discovered diving years ago, it truly can become a lifestyle. :)

Congrats and welcome to SCUBA!!! Lucky you that you are going back to Mexico that soon! Have fun!

Alrighty! Congrats! Have fun!! :dazzler1:

Congrats to both of you! Welcome to our little club!

As for the seasickness and the gear-lugging fatigue, they'll pass with time and experience. I can remember how exhausted I was on my first few dives, but now I hardly notice it. The key is lots and lots of practice. Also, consider taking a nitrox course. It only takes a day, and you'll find that you have much more energy at the end of the dive day.

Safe ascents,
Grier

Congrats! Now have fun getting obsessed like the rest of us!!

:D CONGRATS!!! :D

Well done on the diving and CONGRATS to both of you.

All the best,

Paul
