well guys and gals......it has been a long time but i finally wrote my test last night for my search and recovery specialty and wrote my dive guide exam today. i actually passed both with a 92% !! whoo hoo !!
so after some minor paperwork gets done i will officially be ssi's newest dive guide and dive master.
i am so excited it is finally complete i'm bustin at the seems !! i just had to share !! sorry you all won't be seeing me around anymore as i of course will be spending all my free time in the pro section proving what a big shot i am now. (big lol) 20 something years diving with just over 200 dives and i def still consider myself a rookie. heres to lookin ahead at tackling the DCS course.

Congrats as well. I recall writing exactly the same thing -- FINALLY!!!

Congrats- it takes a lot of work. I just finished Dive Con several weeks ago, and found it more enjoyable, although a lot of work. Good luck with your studies.

I'm at the same stand point.
I have already passed my written Dive Guide exam. I'm now doing my classroom DCS course. I will be checking Dive Guide + Dive Master and DCS next December (already done Science of Diving).

i know this thread was started in september. but can you believe i finally got a notification that my DM card is on its way. that only took 5 months (sarcasm - in case you couldn't tell) but i am happy it will be here soon.
