We are down to the final few spots on our marine science trip in the Maldives.
This is the Southern Sharks itinerary and we will be based on Carpe Novo, a beautiful and spacious liveaboard. It's a fantastic route that has great chances of seeing a variety of sharks and mantas. Among other things, we visit Fuvahmulah and the largest shipwreck in the Maldives, the HMS British Loyalty. In addition to great diving, we will have daily lectures, workshops, and in-water practical applications on a variety of topics, such as marine archaeology, maritime history, marine biology, and shark ecology. This is all optional of course, so if you just want to dive and enjoy the sun deck, that's fine too!
The price is $5,850, and we include the following:
- 12 nights on Carpe Novo
- 1 night in a hotel in Malé before the trip starts
- opening dinner on first night
- airport transfers
- nitrox
- green tax
- all presentations and workshops
We have a few spots left in twin standard cabins and junior suites. We also have one single (private) suite left for an additional $700, which also includes a private hotel room the night before we embark.
Requirements are 70 dives and Advanced Open Water + nitrox.
