fin bungee strap length - Scubapro Seawing Supernova Large vs XL

My large Scubapro Seawing Supernova is tight on my right foot. I'm wondering if the strap on the XL is longer than that of the large. I've worn them on about 12 dives and think I can make them work by attempting to lengthen the strap, but may decide to find the XL boot.

Not on to leave well enough alone I decided longer bungee would be better for me, so…
took a look at the buckle and saw an opening

simple like the old nova.
pop the old bungee out and measure the replacement, I added 3”

went with orange

pull it through and poke it into place

Put the lock piece back and do the other side

they do sell the assembly keepers, $8 for a pair or $12 for the tool and 4
