Do i want an ORANGE filter, or a straight-up RED filter for Caribbean blue water? I have a Roscoe gel sample booklet that i'm cutting up and using for filtering on my GoPro so i have access to any color under the sun. I recently shot some dives in the Bahamas with CTO orange...and you can't really see the results, it's still pretty blue. I'm thinking I need to go RED.

Also - I assume this would be different in California waters? I've heard green water needs PINK to get it back to normal.

any help would be appreciated.

here's a link to the video i just made: YouTube - Reefs, Wrecks and Sharks - Dubstep Diving

thanks!

Any advice guys?

Pink for California waters?

Maybe closer to Magenta - not sure how accurate the colors are as shown here but they show the difference between Blue and Green Water filters: Filter And Diopters - Amphibico Underwater video Housing Store

You might PM Billy - Empty V - he made his own filter for Caliifornia water a few years ago.

Thanks so much! I'll do that. And those pics of the filters give me a good idea...cheers
