i've seen a unit that can be used to filter the air from the tank but more importantly it will add moisture to the air I breath. I will say I had some dry mouth with the regulators I rented. I recently purchased an Aeris Ion and that didn't occur. I was just wonder what other divers were doing.

A lot of the new regs have been designed to collect the humidity of your exhaled breath and add it back to the next breath. I'm not sure of the one that you have bought, but it may be designed like this. As far as the filters, I always looked at it as another possible place to break down. If you hydrate well before your dive you really shouldn't need it.

Hey I was following the post regarding your record. I had not responded yet but, nice job!!! Very impressive feat. I agree with "one more place to break down."

i have been looking at this unit for a few years my main concern is how it be affected in cold water diving [greatlakes 36-38 degree water] for the most part while i dove in fresh water if i got dry mouth i could sip a little water so my actual question has anybody used one of these or have any reviews or feedback?
