Filling pony bottle

I know a Whip is the correct tool for filling from one cylinder to another, but I had a thought....

Can this work: filling a pony bottle from an 80 using two regulators connected by a HP hose connected to the HP ports? I think this thinking may be flawed in that the standard HP hose has a male fitting on one end and a female fitting on the other.

It indeed works as couv nicely demonstrates ... it just takes a while as the HP outlets are very low volume.
