FIJI Visibility Reports for UW Photographer

Hi SB.

I'm a photographer in the planning stages for an underwater shoot and I'm thinking about FIJI. I am based in Sydney, Australia

It's a very shallow shoot with talent performing underwater with a surfboard. I will be on SCUBA

I am looking for SUPERB visibility and able to be in FIJI in the NEXT 4 Weeks.

Can anyone recommend suitable open-water sites OR more specifically a beach break with CRYSTAL CLEAR water?

Am I looking in the right spot? Should I be in Thailand instead?

Any thoughts would be most helpful.

Hi Josh,

The outer reefs off Taveuni have 35 meter visibility at the moment and its getting better Humpback whales giving birth in the straits too.

Sorry, not sure about a beach break with superb visibility.

Thailand - Similan Islands has great visibility after November.
