Planning a two week trip to Fiji, mid January 2026, split between 5 nights in Taveuni and 7 night on the main island, probably the Volivoli area.
Would appreciate any recommendations for good dive operators in both locations, preferably ones that will pick you from your hotel\resort and have an afternoon boat ride as well.

Thanks in advance!

Just got back from Fiji where I spent 8 nights at Volivoli Beach resort and 5 nights at Beqa Lagoon Resort. Did 6 days of diving at Volivoli - was on a package with 2 3-tank dives and 4 2-tank dives. All of the Volivoli dives were with their own site dive operator - Ra Divers. I thought the 3 days we made it out to the marine park were some of the best dives of my life. Ra Divers was a very good operator in my opinion. Also did 4 days of 2 tank dives at Beqa Lagoon Resort where the highlight was their shark dives featuring multiple tiger sharks.

If you go to Taveuni I recommend Taveuni Dive Resort. Only 8 (very large) rooms, solid dive op with multiple boats, good food, great people and owners, relaxed vibe, etc... ~10-15 minutes or less from most dive sites, so short boat rides.

+1 for Taveuni Dive Resort

Did the same trip in April of 2024 (a few days at Beqa for the tigers and then a week at Voli Voli) and LOVED it! Diving at Voli was WAAAY better but the sharks at Beqa were something to behold and the diving wasn't terrible for sure. At Voli however, Mellow Yellow and Purple haze out in the Bligh were some of the best dives I've ever done. Going to Paradise Taveuni for 11 nights this coming March and hope it will be just as great! Love Fiji and can recommend both Voli Voli and Beqa as wonderful places to stay! Very different feels - Beqa is like Gilligan's Island and completely rustic and unplugged, where Voli is more polished and feels more like a Marriott or some other nice higher end type resort. Both dive ops were great. Food at Voli was better but food at Beqa was very very good as well. Drinks at Beqa were cheaper (if you go to Voli make use of happy hour to save some $$).
