What kind of weather did you have when you were there in Cct. 2004? Specifically concerned about rain, high winds etc...?

While the weather in the fall can be a roll of the dice, I wouldn't worry about it. I was sweating the week before I went in Oct. because the internet weather sites were all calling for cloudy, rain etc. When I got there, I had partly cloudy skys, great temps and no wind to speak of - 1 night of rain, which cleared up nicely well before the morning dives. There's no question that there can be storms and winds at that time of year, but the odds are probably 10 to 1 in your favor. Other board members with more Fall experience in Coz than me may have more to add...

I liked Coz in the Fall because there were 1/2 as many people - I had the dive boat to myself a couple of days, and the restaurants were far less crowded - better hotel prices too.
