Whats this fiber optic cable that connects to two strobes? Will i need it to operate my strobes?
I'll have a DXD70 housing connected with a dual sync cord to two YS 1D 's

If your strobes are already connected to the housing with an electronic synch cord, there is no need to use a fiber optic cable to connect them to each other. Connecting the two strobes together by fiber optic cable is used when the housing has only one fiber optic connector and thus you need one strobe to trigger the other.

(My reply applies if I understood your question correctly but I am not sure)
