cool video of whale shark. thanks for sharing. I wonder if some divers spook the whale?
 
Could be. But it is very hard to stay on the rocks when school bus comes along. :)
 
Thanks for the videos. We'll be on the Calipso in January....I hope... I agree regarding divers swimming after whalesharks. In my four experiences with these beasties, I've never seen a diver show total restraint and just stay put while they go by. I have also never seen a whaleshark seem at all concerned. When they want to ditch you, a few quick flicks of the tail and they are long gone.
