I just purchased an Oceanic vt3 with compass, transmitter manuals and all from someone that only made 1 dive with it. The computer has been sitting for a few years and needs the battery replaced, I can't figure out how to take off the compass mount. The LDS wanted to charge me $85 for pressure testing and replacing the 2 batteries. I have the tool from Oceanic, if I could just figure out how to get the vt3 out of this casing. Love the computer, but want fresh batteries before I take it for it's 2nd dive.
thanks

Never mind, I figured it out and have included a link if anyone else wants to attempt this in the future. Here is a link to my pictures https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/115133416197320174912/albums/5727796643289844177 Hope this is helpful. The hardest part was putting the 2 smaller pins back in at the end of the procedure.
