We've been informed that as of February 19 there will be nonstop service between Austin and Cancun via Delta and United/Continental.

Personally, I think they'd do better flying a non-stop to Cozumel, but those big airlines never listen to me.

I am looking at the Delta site and it appears that they are doing the nonstop Saturday to Saturday. Right now they are quoting a $170rt plus taxes. Tax, title and license, $236.72pp/rt
Checked the United/Continental page and they still seem to be going through Houston (IAH).

Hey nothing will beat VivaAerobus. We flew them twice and it was a hoot. The bag drag is as much a part of the adventure as anything else. And no, we did not have to load our own luggage...
