nice pics----as usual....by chance, how far is Bohol from Masbate(reason for asking, my grandfather was the [US]commander of Masbate after WWII for a year or so---would love to retrace some of his steps & meet some of the people he got to know back then, if they're still alive----lol before I get too old)....

Not that close. Masbate is located in the very center of the Philippine Archipelago. It is North of Bohol and is in Region V (Bicol). Bohol is in Region VII (Central Visayas).
