Most New Jersey boat captains made their "No Bananas" rules very clear, I wonder how much that's changed...
 
Heh, never had problems with boats before when I've had bananas on them.

On the original topic (dated 2008, dats old!) I take along lots n lots of chocolate... 1Kg (2 pound) blocks of the cheapest crappiest dairy milk chocolate to be found in the store chain known here as The Warehouse. Sorta like a budget Walmart for you Yankees.

The fit healthy athletic types would surface from a dive tired, and munch of healthy granola bars and fruit, I'd chow down on choc before and after and spend the surface interval snorkelling around swimming like mad while they sat on the boat complaining :D

Calories trump fiber :D
