My annual trip the past two years has been to the keys, both enjoyable trips. I've finally had enough time to fully go through all the photos. One thing I've found interesting is that initially following a trip I'm not always objective about my photos. Some of my initial favorites turn out not to be very good. They were favorites because perhaps it was the first time I tried for a specific shot and if it were even close to a decent result I initially had a lot of excitement in the photo. Over time, usually a few weeks to a few months I'm able to view the photo more objectively and see the flaws.

Here are my favorite shots from diving the keys the last two years:

Nice photos.

Very nice love the non scarred moray

Very nice love the non scarred moray

Thanks, that was at the davey crocker site. The green moray there were... very curious... it was challenging getting a decent shot because they were so intent on getting as close as possible and checking out my rig vs the usual problem of a subject not letting you get close enough.

Was a great, exciting dive!

Love that site
They are fed twice weekly and sometimes they are too “curious” for my comfort

Vaguely recalled some mention of "feeding", what op does the feeding? It was definitely a very exciting site!

Love the hogfish photo!

Thanks, they're an interesting looking fish, they're behavior on sites in the sanctuary areas vs outside it is quite different as expected, getting close is a little easier.
