What are your favorite dive spots on the big Island...Both shore and boat diving?
We are looking for diving sites that have a lot of marine life and would especially love to see dolphins, turtles etc.

Three dive sites that are close together on Puako beach road; 1) the end at a park 2) House at 40 Puako Beach road 3) Ascension Church Puako Beach Road. The park and church are listed on Shorediving.com. 40 is just a beach access & go out from there. Turtles are frequent, dolphins are transient, so good luck.

BTW, these dives are on the north west quadrant of the big island (south Kohala) and are shore dives.

The manta dive is cool. I tried to do it twice, got blown out once, the second time we had just one big manta and two small show up, it was still great.
