Seems like a case of using equipment to solve a skill problem to me. I’ll be ordering several when they’re available for my camping trips though 
reminds me of the figure 9 tie-downs I use camping and on deployments.
I don't even think that it makes things quicker than tying the correct knot correctly, but like so many other tactical things it just looks cool.
